Striking: The X Lounge Chair HM10 by AndTradition
In 1959, the X Lounge Chair HM10 was launched after the Danish designer duo Hvidt & Mølgaard tried a new experimental approach to a laminated wooden frame. Inspired by old wooden tennis rackets, it creates an extraordinary look.
Material and format
The chair is made of oak with a walnut insert. For this, the veneer leaves are pressed together to form a solid wood insert, milled into shape and lacquered. The seat is made of natural rattan, which is woven around a powder-coated stainless steel frame. The chair measures 56.6 cm in width, 67.3 cm in depth and 72.2 cm in height. The seat height is 38.3 cm.
