For the youngest: Panton Junior Chair by Vitra
Like a mini version of the well-known Panton Chair, the Panton Junior chair by Vitra is unchanged from its model in terms of material and proportions. It is about a quarter smaller and available in many cheerful colours. The perfect seat for children of kindergarten and primary school age.
The carefully coordinated colour and material palette by Vitra ensures that the Panton Junior can be excellently arranged with other products by the manufacturer, creating diverse, individual children's rooms entirely according to the wishes of the youngest.
Verner Panton - Design genius
Verner Panton, who was born in Denmark, studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in Copenhagen after attending the technical school in Odense. After his graduation, he worked together with the famous designer Arne Jacobsen from 1950-52 and founded his own design studio in 1955.
Like the Amoebe series, his other designs bear witness to his preference for strong colours and geometric shapes. The Panton Chair, which was created in collaboration with Vitra in the 1960s, also clearly shows this.
Material and format
The chair is made of solid-coloured polypropylene with a matt surface. The children's chair is 37.6 cm wide, 44.6 cm deep and 62.8 cm high. The seat height is 34.8 cm. It is suitable for outdoor use.
Note: Special additives slow down the fading of the colours due to UV radiation. If the chair is exposed to the sun for a longer period of time, the colour may still change. We recommend not to expose the chair to the sun for longer than necessary.
