Moving: Mbrace rocking chair rocking chair from Dedon
The Mbrace rocking chair is an armchair for relaxing. What could be nicer than rocking back and forth on a warm summer evening? Pure relaxation! As usual, the seat is made of high-quality Dedon fibre and the frame is made of solid teak. The result of this "mixture" is something to be proud of - a luxurious armchair with a touch of naturalness.
A true embrace - the Mbrace collection
The Mbrace collection was designed by Sebastian Herkner . His aim was to use a traditional braiding technique to create a collection of furniture that radiates an inviting living atmosphere. The name already gives it away: "Mbrace" is the abbreviation of the English word "embrace" and means "to embrace". And that's exactly how embraced and cosy you feel when you sink into the various seats in the Mbrace series. Matching dining and side tables are available to round off the product variety and complement the colours.
Design by Sebastian Herkner
Sebastian Herkner studied product design at the Offenbach University of Art and Design. Even during his studies, he focussed on designing objects and furniture that are characterised by the combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. Subtle details and the natural beauty of the materials used take centre stage. Herkner founded his own design studio in 2006 and has since designed products for numerous well-known companies. His work has already won several awards.
Material and format
The frame of the chair is made of premium teak and woven with the special DEDON fibre. The DEDON fibre is not only extremely weather-resistant and cannot be affected by cold, heat, sun, rain or snow, it is also exceptionally colourfast, structurally stable and resistant to chlorine and salt water. The seat and back cushions are made of weatherproof textile fabric. The covers cannot be removed.
The chair measures 107 cm in width, 89 cm in depth and 97 cm in height. The seat height is 43 cm. The weight is 9.9 kg.
Care instructions:
Clean with a soft cloth and warm water. Clean the teak with DEDON Teak Cleaner. To maintain the golden-brown colour of the untreated teak, it is recommended to treat the floor with DEDON Teak Oil at least every six months. The cushions can be washed by hand at 30 °C.
