Ingenious: Lönneberga Stacking Bed Oak with Slatted Frame Richard Lampert
This bed is a sofa is a bed is a sofa . . . Exactly! Lönneberga is both - and so beautifully, elegantly and cleverly designed that you will probably soon no longer know whether you are still sitting on the sofa or already lying in bed. Design, functionality and high-quality workmanship make this designer stacking bed made of solid oak by Richard Lampert a favourite for anyone who loves design but whose space at home is limited. Whether you want to make yourself comfortable or offer your guests a dreamy place to sleep without an annoying bed crack - or prefer two single beds - an ingenious idea has been born here, just like Astrid Lindgren's Michel from Lönneberga, after whom designer Alexander Seifried named the Lönneberga stacking bed. And the accessories also bear the names from the Swedish children's book classic. There is the storage tray named Michel, bed sack Alfred reminds of the farmhand, the bed base Alma of the maid and the fall-out protection Lina of Michel's little sister. The Alma bed base offers plenty of storage space and is stackable. The bed includes a slatted frame that is firmly attached to the bed frame.
Learned from the bottom up: designer Alexander Seifried
Alexander Seifried knows exactly how to build furniture. At the age of 18, he graduated from his carpentry apprenticeship as 2nd guild winner and then completed an apprenticeship at 3F Design in Stuttgart, specialising in interior design and furniture design. Only two years later, he presented his first own furniture collection and made it into the renowned manufacturing companies Richard Lampert, Magazin, frauMaier and Elmar Flötotto.
Richard Lampert: Design made in Germany
In 1993, Richard Lampert founded his company in Stuttgart with the aim of industrially producing furniture and everyday objects that combine quality craftsmanship, design standards and sustainability. Richard Lampert's collections cover a wide range of areas, from outdoor furniture to living space and office furniture. Well-known designers such as Egon Eiermann and Herbert Hirche stand alongside unconventional and lesser-known international designers.
Material and format
The bed frame of the Lönneberga design stacking bed by Richard Lampert is made of solid oak. The bed with a rolling base made of 21 slats of solid wood does not include a mattress, but can be supplemented in the accessories with a special mattress 90 x 200 and with a height of 10 cm: stacking is not possible with higher mattresses! The mattress is made of polyfoam RG 40, compression hardness 30 with removable cover for dry cleaning, fabric Solo (100 % polyester), 400 g/sqm in beige grey. The bed can also be supplemented with a matching bed sack (95 cm or 195 cm), a pillow (40x60), a bed base with which the bed then has a height of 37 cm, two beds stacked 56 cm. There is a pair of clamps for locking two beds next to each other.
