For all lovers of colourful designs, the Fishbone collection by designer Patricia Urquiola is just the thing! She was inspired by the well-known herringbone pattern and now presents a modern, playfully colourful reinterpretation. Blocks of plain and patterned stripes alternate and combine to create a coherent, unusual look. To create the patterns, a sheet of acrylic is cast, imitating natural materials such as horn, mother-of-pearl and marble. The Fishbone collection includes three different designs and table shapes in different sizes. 

Design by Patricia Urquiola 

The Spanish-born designer now lives and works in Milan, where she graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic in 1989. Afterwards, she worked as an assistant to Achille Castiglioni and was an employee of the De Padova studio, where she developed furniture together with Vico Magistretti. In 2001, Urquiola opened her own studio for product design, interior design and architecture. Her furniture designs are characterised by material diversity and colourful designs and adorn the product portfolio of renowned manufacturers, including Alessi, Driade, Flos, Gan, Kartell, Rosenthal and Verywood.

Moroso was founded as early as 1952 and since then has stood for high quality, unbridled ingenuity and colourful design furniture. The focus is on unique, unusual design, environmentally friendly production and the use of natural, recyclable materials wherever possible. Material and format 

The small Fishbone table is 54 cm wide, 34 cm deep and 50 cm high. The steel frame is lacquered in matt black and has polypropylene foot glides. 

The table top is made of Sintetica® methacrylate, glossy coated and can be ordered in three great colour variations. The tops are decorated, cut and assembled by hand. Therefore, the finished tables may have slight differences in the colour geometries. The tables are delivered disassembled.
