Information age: Zettel'z 5 pendant lamp by Ingo Maurer. Zettel'z 5 was designed in 1997 and has enjoyed great popularity ever since. No wonder, this design lamp has a lot to offer: an extravagant look, a penchant for creativity and individuality. Not to forget: versatility.
By the way, Zettel'z 5 is one of the most famous luminaires of the German light poet Ingo Maurer.
Individualist
The Ingo Maurer luminaire comes with 31 printed "slips of paper" and 49 unprinted slips of paper - both in A5 format. The latter are just waiting to be provided with verses, small sketches, pictures and snappy sayings. And a little colour never hurt a sheet.
Workmanship
The lamp body of the Zettel's pendant lamp is made of stainless steel and glass. The numerous slips of paper - 80 in number - are clipped onto it as the mood takes you. Since the leaves are made of translucent, thin Japanese paper, the light shines through beautifully. And where do the filigree sticks go? You decide!
With a diameter of 120 cm, Zettel'z 5 is quite imposing, so it goes without saying that the design luminaire also requires two light sources: an uplight and a downlight.
