Versatile: Yonda universal chair four-star base Wilkhahn

The name says it all - Yonda is derived from "Beyond", because Wilkhahn sees this new chair range as "beyond". The innovative shell chairs were developed by the Neunzig°design design studio on the basis of the well-known spacious shell chairs by Georg Lowald from the 1950s. Yonda thus becomes part of a modern, comfortable and flexible working environment. Due to their homely character, however, the chairs can also be used very well in living spaces, whether in the home office or at the dining table. The material also fits the name, as the shells in the series are made of BioComposite.

Wilkhahn - Good seating for more than 100 years

Chairs were at the heart of the company's more than 100-year history right from the start. In 1907, Christian Wilkening and Friedrich Hahne founded a chair factory. This was an obvious move, as the town of Eimbeckhausen near Hanover was surrounded by forests which provided the wood needed for production. The two founding names, Wilkening and Hahne, were later combined to form the company name: Wilkhahn.

In 1980, the FS series was launched - a milestone. The FS office chairs have been sold an incredible two million times and are still very popular today. Wilkhahn is one of the specialists when it comes to dynamic seating and this explains the manufacturer's aim of developing office chairs that enable 3D dynamic movements. The result is the Free-to-move series, which includes the ON, IN and AT swivel chairs. In addition to swivel chairs, Wilkhahn also offers flexible seating options in the form of standing aids such as the Stitz, the Sitzbock, the Rider and the Stand-Up.

Material and format

The seat shell of the chair is made of BioComposite. The chair is 60 cm wide and deep. It measures 84 cm in height and 44 cm in seat height.
