Couch Potato: Yam armchair by Northern. When looking at the squashy armchair you immediately feel transported back to the sixties and seventies. A really great retro armchair.
You just have to look at the Yam Chair and you would love to fall down on it. No problem! The seat cushion is spacious, the quilted pattern provides that certain something.
Different colours
You can order the original Yam designer armchair in different colours online. We offer the Yam Chair in plain grey, elegant dark grey or dark blue and romantic in pink. Of course you can also combine the colours perfectly with each other.
Design
Designer Mattias Stenberg has come up with something very special with the Yam Chair. The design label Northern comes from Norway, Stenberg from Sweden. The latter opened his own design studio in 2010 and designs everything he can lay his hands on: from carpets to home accessories made of glass.
Material and size
The Yam Chair by Northern consists of several materials. The basis is a plywood frame. The upholstery made of molded foam is covered with high-quality fabric. The Brusvik cover by Kvadrat is available in four colours. Please note that a two-tone fabric is shown on the displayed ambient images. If you order the Yam Chair online, you will receive a uni coloured fabric.
Yam by Northern is 72 cm tall and deep. The seating height is 37 cm, the seat depth 54 cm. At the widest point the design armchair is 68 cm wide, at the narrowest 68 cm (backrest). Without packaging, the Northern armchair weighs 20.5 kilograms.
