Hay x Liberty - a collaboration that could not have been more fitting . Here, the unmistakable floral print of Liberty London meets the classic pleated construction of the Matin lampshade. Two iconic details that elevate the Matin table lamp to a poetic and timeless design object. The delicate, curved steel wire frame made of polished brass radiates a special visual delicacy and, in combination with the pleated cotton shade, creates an inviting atmosphere.
Inga Sempé - the designer
French designer Inga Sempé lives and works in Paris. She is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Création Industrielle and also received a scholarship at the Villa Medici, Académie de France in Rome. in 2007 she was honoured with the Red Dot Design Award. Her work is characterised by lightness, personality and flair .
Material and format
The Hay x Liberty Matin lamp consists of a polished brass frame and a cotton shade laminated onto a PVC film, which you can order in the floral patterns Betsy Ann and Ros. The lamp is 30 cm wide, 30 cm deep and 38 cm high.
The table lamp has a 2 metre cable and an integrated LED light source that provides a diffuse downlight. An inline dimmer switch is also integrated.
