So much elegance has an extremely positive effect on living room settings. A slender rod, a no less slender base and, to crown it all, a highly minimalist shade: the Wagenfeld luminaire is a simple beauty. If you want a full load of light, choose a lamp with a maximum of 75 watts.
The Wagenfeld floor lamp WST L 30 is made of different materials: nickel-plated metal and plastic. In its original version, the lampshade was made of cellon. Since this material is no longer permitted today for safety reasons, the lampshade is made of a heat-resistant plastic shade covered with fabric.
The diameter of the base is 36 cm, the diameter of the lampshade 60 cm. The design lamp has a height of 157 cm. The manufacturer Tecnolumen recommends a bulb with a maximum of 75 watts (E27 socket).
The design comes from a real Bauhaus great: Wilhelm Wagenfeld. Wilhelm Wagenfeld is the inventor of the Bauhaus lamp par excellence, the WA24 table lamp. The design of the floor lamp dates back to 1930. The only reedition protected by copyright and authorised by Prof. Wilhelm Wagenfeld. The lamps are consecutively numbered and bear the Tecnolumen sign.
Tecnolumen - Design history with a future
Tecnolumen stands for luminaires with a timeless and strong design and has done so for 35 years. A special focus of the manufacturer is on originals from the Bauhaus period, in addition to contemporary luminaires that are found in the same design spectrum. The Bremen-based manufactory produces lamps and utilitarian objects that are particularly popular with collectors.
