Bud: Wo-Tum-Bu 2 floor lamp by Ingo Maurer
A narrow, unopened flower bud, the individual leaves pressed tightly together, just before the moment of opening - this is what the Wo-Tum-Bu floor lamp by Ingo Maurer reminds us of.
The light and simple design perfectly complements the choice of material. The fine grooved paper simultaneously provides a pleasant light as a shade and in its form additionally a sculptural design effect.
The design is reminiscent of the Japanese furnishing style and is extremely inviting, so the lamp looks good in many areas and creates a feel-good atmosphere. The design was created by Dagmar Mombach in cooperation with Ingo Maurer and his team.
Processing
The lamp consists of paper, metal, stainless steel and a glass fibre screen. The base is made of concrete. Greases such as hand cream and liquids leave traces on this surface. Therefore, only touch the base with dry and clean hands or gloves, otherwise discolouration may occur. The luminaire is not suitable for use in rooms with high humidity.
