Until a few years ago, a basket maker from the outskirts of Vienna supplied them with the newspaper holders. After he stopped his business at the age of 90, Thomas Poganitsch took over some of the tools and machines and continues to produce the classic pieces.

The designer was born in Carinthia in 1987 and, after professional stays in Italy and China, discovered Vienna as his second home a few years ago. He manufactures his products by hand in his own workshop in Vienna's 2nd district.
