Refined: VV Cinquanta Suspension Pendant Lamp by Astep
Designed in 1951 by Italian architect Vittoriano Viganó during his time as art director for Arteluce, the VV Cinquanta features a movable direct light source that can be pivoted and tilted from direct task light to uplighting.
This version is a refined luminaire with a distinctive double-shaft design. It is a kind of kinetic object designed to exploit the principle of equilibrium.
The VV Cinquanta collection, like all other Astep products, is manufactured in Italy.
Astep - luminaires with generation
The company Astep was founded by Alessandro Sarfatti, the son of Riccardo Sarfatti, the founder of Luceplan and the grandson of Gino Sarfatti, the founder of Arteluce. The experience of three generations is now combined in the latest technology. At the same time, Astep stands for the admiration of timeless inventions.
