Description
New interpretation: VL Studio table / floor lamp Louis Poulsen
The VL Studio is visually close to the original VL series by designer Vilhelm Lauritzen, so that it complements the series perfectly. In the late 1930s, designer Vilhelm Lauritzen designed the first VL Design lamps in cooperation with Louis Poulsen for the Danish radio building "Radiohuset" in Copenhagen. This new edition was inspired by luminaires that were intended to signal with their light whether a radio studio was on the air or not.Louis Poulsen - lighting design from Denmark
The Danish luminaire manufacturer was already founded in 1874 and since then has been producing products that are dedicated to the duality of design and light. The luminaires are designed for various purposes and are therefore particularly functional. Louis Poulsen produces indoor as well as outdoor lights in close cooperation with well-known designers such as Poul Henningsen, Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton, Øivind Slaatto, Alfred Homann, Oki Sato and GamFratesi. Thus, the manufacturer has established itself as one of the most important global suppliers of lighting elements.Technical details
