Designer Mika Tolvanen
The renowned Finnish designer Mika Tolvanen graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2001 and opened his own studio directly afterwards. Since then, he has been designing products for home and contract use and making prototypes himself in his workshop on the island of Lauttasaari outside Helsinki, Finland.
Material and format
The design chair consists of a shell of lacquered ash or oak veneer and a base of powder-coated steel. It is 60 cm wide, 51 cm deep and 69 cm high. The seat height is 40 cm.
