Designer Mika Tolvanen
The renowned Finnishdesigner Mika Tolvanen graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2001 and opened his own studio immediately afterwards. Since then he has been designing products for home and contract and making prototypes himself in his workshop on the island of Lauttasaari outside Helsinki, Finland.
Material and format
The design chair consists of a shell of lacquered ash or oak veneer and a base of powder-coated steel. It is 55 cm wide, 52.5 cm deep and 81 cm high. The seat height is 47 cm.
