The name "Vent" comes from the Danish word "wait". This is an allusion to  the origins as seating furniture designed for viewing in museums. The designs, handmade in collaboration with a local workshop for the blind and visually impaired, combine aesthetics and functionality. Created by Danish-Swedish furniture designer Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm, the Vent Bench impresses with its simple, timeless design. The minimalist two-seater bench rests on a delicate, powder-coated steel frame, while the seat is skilfully woven by hand from hard-wearing paper cords. It not only offers a high level of seating comfort, but also an elegant look that enhances any room - whether in the private home or in public areas.

Fritz Hansen is an exclusive design brand characterised by timeless collections and world-famous classic and contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories. The company was founded in Denmark in 1872. In the 1950s, the well-known designer Arne Jacobsen was responsible for design at Fritz Hansen. in 1979, the previously family-run company became part of Skandinavisk Holding. At the same time, Verner Panton was at the centre of attention as a leading avant-garde figure and had a huge influence on the manufacturer's design. And so Fritz Hansen continues to develop, while always keeping its long history and tradition in mind by continuing to collaborate with international and visionary designers.

Material and format

The frame of the bench is made of powder-coated steel and has a hand-woven seat made of paper cords. The dimensions are H 44 cm x W 32.5 cm x D 85 cm with a weight of 5.8 kg and a seat height of 43 cm.
