The resulting weave creates a particularly refined graphic structure. If the weave is single-coloured, it appears more elegant; if two- or three-coloured cords are used, the armchair appears more playful.

Design by Patricia Urquiola 

The Spanish-born designer lives and works in Milan today, where she graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic in 1989. Afterwards, she worked as an assistant to Achille Castiglioni and was an employee of the De Padova studio, where she developed furniture together with Vico Magistretti. In 2001, Urquiola opened her own studio for product design, interior design and architecture. Her furniture designs are characterised by material diversity and colourful designs and adorn the product portfolio of renowned manufacturers, including Alessi, Driade, Flos, Gan, Kartell, Rosenthal and Verywood.

Moroso was founded as early as 1952 and since then has stood for high quality, unbridled ingenuity and colourful design furniture. The focus is on unique, unusual design, environmentally friendly production and the use of natural, recyclable materials wherever possible. Material and format 

The Tropicalia armchair is 89 cm wide, 57 cm deep and 78 cm high. The seat height is 37 cm. 

It is made of stainless steel with a weave of plastic yarn. The foot glides are made of PVC. 

The beautiful outdoor armchair is available in many different colours.
