With the Tres collection, Nani Marquina's passion for craftsmanship is clearly evident. With the Vegetal model, the collection now adds a rustic style based on the use of hemp. The hand-spun fibre was chosen for its biodegradability, light weight and resilience, above all to illustrate the brand's passion for nature.
It is precisely the irregularities of the flat weave, made in India, that lie at the heart of the beauty of this unique collection. The criss-crossing of the fibres and their different thicknesses and shades creates a very unique impression.
Designer Elisa Padrón + Nani Marquina
Known for her intuitive and passionate approach, designer Elisa Padrón brings craftsmanship to life. She does extensive research for each design, experimenting with her own hands and different techniques to fully experience and understand her product. A keen knowledge of colour and attention to detail make Padrón's creations a tribute to aesthetic simplicity.
Nani Marquina founded the company of the same name in 1987 after completing her industrial design studies at the Escuela Massana in Barcelona and focusing fully on bespoke textile design.

nanimarquina is a company that is actively committed to climate protection. The focus is on reducing the carbon footprint and conserving natural resources without compromising on quality and design. As the first climate-neutral carpet manufacturer, the company has set itself ambitious goals: It aims to halve its emissions by 2030 and be completely carbon neutral by 2050.
The company relies on natural fibres, controls its water consumption and develops waste reduction projects. It has also revised its corporate structure to focus on sustainability.

Material and format
Tres Vegetal is made of 12% New Zealand wool, 23% wool felt and 65% hemp. The rug is available in four sizes. You can choose between 170 x 240 cm, 200 x 300 cm, 250x350 cm or 300x400 cm. Anti-slip mat included.
