Tizio table lamp black Artemide
Your advantages with einrichten design
personal, individual, passionately
Balance: Tizio table lamp by Artemide
A true innovation - the Tizio lamp has a transformer installed in the base that converts the voltage from 230 volts to 12 volts. The transformer supplies the halogen lamp and also serves as a power conductor. This makes cables superfluous. The Tizio table lamp is one of the most sold lamps by Artemide.
The design lamp consists of lacquered polycarbonate and a head made of aluminium. The arms and the lamp head can be individually aligned by means of counterweights.
Designer Richard Sapper
Hardly any other designer worked as versatile as Richard Sapper. He was responsible for the worldwide product design of IBM and designed, among other things, one of the first portable computers, the ThinkPad 700C (1992). He also worked with Fiat on experimental cars, especially pneumatic shock absorber systems. He also designed a bus in which passengers could store their bicycles in a stand. Sapper's clients include well-known companies such as Alessi, B&B Italia, IBM, Kartell, Knoll International, Lenovo and Pirelli.
