On the move: Tide sideboard by Casamania Horm
Some of designer Karim Rashid's designs are characterised by his work with different movements and dynamics. The Tide sideboard is no exception and inspires with a simple yet refined design.
Viewed from the front, Tide appears even and gentle, exuding a certain restrained aesthetic. But viewed from the side, the unusual design of the piece of furniture comes into its own. The panels attached to the front look like sand dunes shaped by the wind and open up an exciting play of movement and shadow.
Elegant storage space
Tide has two self-braking drawers with edges made of anodised aluminium as well as a generous folding front with gas-pressure piston, which conceals three shelves behind it. This provides ample storage space in the dining area, living room or bedroom.
The sideboard is made of lacquered MDF and can be ordered in three classic colour versions. Waves of lacquered MDF panels are attached to the fronts. It measures 192 cm in width and 60 cm in depth. If you choose the Mid-Century Modern or the low Minimal Design feet, your sideboard has a height of 80 cm. With the higher Minimal Design feet, it is 96 cm high.
