With their colourful red and blue faces, mandrill monkeys are something very special in the animal kingdom - so it's no surprise that Umasqu has included them in its zoo collection.
They are the perfect decoration for modern offices or homes. Thanks to their artistic comic style, some of the friendly faces can also be wonderfully arranged as wall decorations in children's rooms.
Each mask is hand-painted and therefore unique.
Wall decorations from Umasqu
The modern wall decoration brand Umasqu was founded by Tzachi Nevo. He graduated in Industrial Design from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in 1990 and worked for 25 years in various positions in the advertising and web world. With his well-known images of human faces and animal heads, he finally returned to the world of design. He finds his inspiration in various design languages, such as Mid Century Modern, Steampunk and Cubism. Although the pieces he designs are not unique, they are limited in quantity. For Nevo, the focus is on creating affordable art.
Material and format
The masks are made from a combination of different materials: veneer, MDF, Formica, Plexiglas, plastic and felt. They are coloured with high-quality Molotow premium paints for the best UV and weather resistance. The mask comes with a hook on the back for hanging.
As the masks are also handmade, small variations are possible.
