The Ant chair is a very versatile chair. It is often used in conference rooms, canteens, offices and private homes .
The Ant was originally designed by Arne Jacobsen for the canteen of Novo Nordisk, a Danish company. The Fritz Hansen classic is now one of the icons of the collection.
Initially, this was uncertain, as Fritz Hansen was not immediately convinced of the chair's potential. The chair survived the initial scepticism when Arne Jacobsen vouched to buy up all the chairs that were not sold.

Material and form
Despite its graceful and minimalist form, the Ant is an exceptionally comfortable chair. The Arne Jacobsen chair is a stackable Wooden chair with a chrome-plated frame with four legs.
