Extravagant: Take table lamp black ONE Piece by Kartell

With Take, the designer Pietro Ferruccio Laviani has created a lamp that can be seen in the truest sense of the word. Take is made of transparent or opaque black or white polycarbonate by injection moulding. Two flat, rectangular and two-dimensional plates in the middle of this "half lamp" give shape and volume. The shade is pleated on the inside, which gives the lamp that extra dose of extravagance and creates beautiful light reflections when switched on. 

Ferruccio Laviani 

Ferruccio Laviani first started to learn the trade of a violin maker, but broke off the apprenticeship to study architecture and design at the Polytechnic in Milan. By 1983, he had already worked for the designer Michele De Lucci and later became his partner. in 1991, he finally went into business for himself and celebrated a great success with Kartell's trade fair appearance at the Salone internazionale del mobile. In the following years, he developed, among others, the famous ceiling lamp Fly and the popular table lamps Bourgie and Battery.
