Expressive: T-Table side table from Kartell
The T-Table side table, created by Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola, is an object with great poetic expressiveness. It arose from the desire to create innovative surfaces in order to generate new visual and tactile effects. The table top of the T-Table has a surface on which recessed and filled-in areas alternate. This results in an elegant and precious-looking decor that resembles embroidery.

Born in Spain, the designer now lives and works in Milan, where she graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic in 1989. She then worked as an assistant to Achille Castiglioni and was a member of staff at Studio De Padova, where she developed furniture together with Vico Magistretti. in 2001, Urquiola opened her own studio for product design, interior design and architecture. Her furniture designs are characterised by material diversity and colourful designs and adorn the product portfolios of renowned manufacturers, including Alessi, Cassina, Driade, Flos, Gan, Kartell, Rosenthal and Verywood.

Material and format
The T-Table side table made of transparent or black solid-coloured PMMA has a diameter of 50 cm.
It is available in three different heights: 28 cm, 36 cm and 44 cm.
