Hardly anything smells better than freshly ground herbs and spices - the Swing herb/pepper mill by Skeppshult is perfect for grinding spices. The rough bottom of the container is covered with spices. Without much effort, these are then ground with the likewise rough plunger. This produces ground spices and blends that couldn't be fresher!

Skeppshult - durable design

In a fast-moving society, Skeppshult produces products that last. And has been doing so by hand since 1906 according to old methods and traditions. At the beginning of each product is raw iron, which is heated together with other metals in induction furnaces to 1500 degrees. In sand moulds, the molten cast iron is poured into its later shape. This step is done by hand and is carried out with precision by experienced master casters.  After cooling, the cast iron is treated with rapeseed oil from Osterlen to give it the right structure and to give it its natural non-stick properties.

Material and format

The herb mill is made of cast iron and has a lid made of ash wood. A rubber seal ensures that nothing gets out of place.
