Limited Edition: String shelf 1949-2024 by String Furniture
In autumn 1949, the String shelf by Nisse and Kajsa won first place in the Bonniers bookcase competition. The design consisting of blue wall panels and shelves made of pine won out against 194 competitors from all over Europe, the USA and even Australia. To mark the 75th anniversary of the String shelf, the limited edition of the winning design from 1949 is now available. Made with the original blue-coloured wall ladders and shelves made of solid pine, the shelf is an eye-catcher in any room.
String Furniture - perfect balance
The perfect balance between functionality and form is the aim of String Furniture. Over the years, the manufacturer's shelving systems have developed into true design icons for precisely this reason and are considered an example of timeless Scandinavian modern design. The design has been further perfected over the years to ensure that it remains not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional.

The shelf is 60 cm high, 60 cm wide and 20 cm deep. The dimensions have remained the same since 1949, which means that the limited edition can be combined with any other String shelf.
