Description
Well placed: Stacking couch CPL White Comfort from Müller Möbelwerkstätten
We do not know whether the architect Rolf Heide had any idea in 1966 what success the stacking lounger designed by him would one day have. The comfort stacking couch is 40 cm higher than the classic stacking couch, which is also available in the shop. High stacker: You can stack a maximum of ten beds.
Excellent!
The stacking bed designed by Rolf Heide can rightly be called a design icon. The stacking bed was awarded the interior innovation award in 2003. Good to know: With the matching backrest cushion, you can create a sofa from the bed in no time at all.
Material and size
The stacking bed is made of 15 mm thick, 9-fold glued laminated wood. The white CPL coating makes the wood robust. And the exposed edges? They simply look great!
The Rolf Heide bed is 27.5 cm high. The distance from the lower edge to the floor is 13 cm. We offer the stacking bed in five different widths: 80, 90, 100, 120 or 140 cm. The indicated width and length refers to the lying surface, i.e. the mattress size. The complete frame is 3 cm longer and wider. For example, if the lying surface is 80 cm wide, the complete frame width is 83 cm. You will receive the design bed disassembled.
Central spar
From a width of 1200 mm, the manufacturer recommends using a central spar for stability reasons. This stabilises the slatted frame. With two slatted frames, the middle spar is an absolute must.
Please note that you only receive the bed frame. You can also order the matching slatted frame, the matching mattress and other extras online.
