Classic: Spring Balanced spring tension table lamp from Midgard
A parallelogram with spring tension and an absolute German classic - the original from the 1950s is still manufactured in Hamburg using the original tools. The lamp is made entirely of metal (steel and aluminium).
The spring tension luminaire is available in white or black. Other RAL colours can be produced in small quantities on request.
Midgard - 100 years of steerable light
formed in 1919 from the industrial plant Auma Ronneberger and Fischer , Midgard Licht GmbH isthe owner of the oldest patent for steerable light.
Its founder CurtFischer is regarded as the inventor of steerable light. His luminaires were used in the metal workshops of the Dessau Bauhaus , among others. The products aremanufactured in Hamburg Altona and assembled, making Midgard luminaires genuine Made-in-Germany goods. They are ENEC and VDE certified.
Material and format
The luminaire is made of aluminium. It is 19 cm high and has a diameter of 20 cm.
