Spinny can be used wherever it is needed. How does he do that? With his mobile rollers. B-Line's Spinny roller container is a spacious drawer unit with swivel wheels, with base and structure in painted steel and drawers in injection-moulded ABS. The drawers rotate at a 180° angle around a rod located in the middle of the base. They are locked by hooking the drawer itself to the structure.
Material and size
The drawers are made of injection moulded ABS plastic. The base and frame are made of painted steel, the castors of polypropylene. You can choose between different colors: white, red and grey. Spinny from B-Line is 126 cm high, 71 cm wide and 71 cm deep. Spinny weighs in at an impressive 30 kilograms.
The design
Spinny was designed in 2004 by Studio Joe Colombo. The design studio was founded, as the name suggests, by Joe Colombo. Born in 1930, Joe Colombo, whose real name was Cesare, was one of the pioneers of modern Italian design. The magic word: plastic. Furniture made of plastic and bright colors were something new at the time and perfectly represented the spirit of the times. Colombo died in 1970 at the age of only 40, but his ideas and his design studio live on.
