The Soft Pad Chair EA 223 stool is based on the design of the other Soft Pad Chairs that Ray & Charles Eames developed in 1969. Therefore the two designs complement each other perfectly and look good together.
Charles and Ray Eames – Design duo
The couple Eames is one of the most important personalities in the field of design in the 20th century. In addition to designing furniture, they have also made films, photographed and put together exhibitions. Vitra is the only legitimate manufacturer of Eames products for Europe and the Middle East.
Material and size
The seat consists of a sewn-on cushion with a polyurethane foam poster in leather or Premium leather. The base of the Ottoman is made of polished die-cast aluminium, which can be chrome-plated or powder-coated in deep black.
