Charles and Ray Eames - design duo
The Eames couple are among the most important personalities in the field of design in the 20th century. In addition to designing furniture, they also made films, took photographs and put together exhibitions. Vitra is the only authorised manufacturer of Eames products for Europe and the Middle East.
Material and format
The seat and backrest consist of sewn-on cushion units with polyurethane foam upholstery in leather or premium leather. The side profiles, armrests and clamps are made of polished die-cast aluminium and are available in a chrome-plated or deep black powder-coated finish. The base is a 5-star base with castors for carpets or hard floors, depending on your choice.
