Material combination
The design studio Iskos-Berlin has used a popular Scandinavian combination of materials for the Soft Edge 80 Low Bar Stool- wood and steel. While the frame is made of chromed steel, the shell is made of three-dimensionally shaped wood. Here, a special process is used, which allows to bring plywood in just this form - a complex process that is worth the effort, however. After all, it sits on the ergonomically shaped seat very well.
Stability is ensured by the steel struts, which are mounted between the stool legs.
