As an imaginative reinterpretation of the classic lounger, the Snooze sun lounger convinces with its generous, inviting shape. Design duo Chiaramonte - Marin
Alfredo Chiaramonte and Marco Marin founded their design studio of the same name in 1989. They are both interested in the fields of interior design, graphics, industry and lighting. Chiaramonte was born in 1961 in Bologna and studied architecture in Venice. His colleague Marin was born in Venice in 1964 and graduated there from the Accademia di Belle Arti in industrial design. In addition to Emu, the two work with other well-known furniture manufacturers such as Miniforms, Bonaldo, Andromeda and Moulinex.
Emu - Design from Italy
Firmly rooted in Italy, Emu has developed a particular international sensibility and orientation in 65 years. The result is outdoor collections that fit into any ambience and are suitable for professional and private use. Harmonious colours, recognizable collections and the combination of technical and innovative materials are the reasons for the success of the Italian company.
Material and size
The sunbed is made of steel and Emu-Tex. Emu-Tex is a technical fabric for outdoor use made of PVC yarn (polyvinyl chloride). It is extremely robust and guarantees long durability: maximum resistance to UV rays, weathering, humidity and temperature fluctuations. The couch is 215 cm wide, 92 cm deep and can be set from 37 to 102 cm.
