Designer Marcel Wanders
The designer Marcel Wanders creates products at the highest level of design. For this reason, many of his works have already been exhibited, for example, in the famous Museum of Modern Art in New York. With his Knotted Chair he was able to make a name for himself as a designer worldwide. Wanders' clients include the Italian lighting manufacturer Flos as well as Alessi, Moroso and Magis.
Material and format
Skygarden by Flos is made of plaster cast, glass and stainless steel. The lampshade consists of two parts: an exterior of painted aluminum and an interior of plaster. Double blown opal glass is used for the diffuser.
