Pure purism - the Simple wooden bed from Zeitraum puts the material wood in the foreground. This aspect is additionally emphasized by the light construction and the floating frame. Thus the bed appears in its simplest form and function, reduced to the essentials.
Design studio Formstelle
The design studio Formstelle was founded in 2001 by Claudia Kleine and Jörg Kürschner. The two take on tasks in the areas of interior design, product design and corporate identity. For all points, the focus is also on the network of relationships between people and spatial perception. The result is authentic, unique and precisely coordinated designs and concepts. Our own model making workshop enables us to deal with the subject during the design process.
Zeitraum - Design furniture from the Bavarian foothills of the Alps
Life in the Alpine region is characterised by the conscious use of limited resources. This fact gives rise to a sense of responsibility and longevity to which the manufacturer Zeitraum has committed itself. The result is a respectful approach to the natural environment and timeless designs made from durable materials. Since its foundation in 1990, the German manufacturer has pursued the idea of combining design and ecology and therefore uses only hardwoods from sustainable forestry and refrains from chemical treatment of the wood.
Material and size
The Simple bed is made of solid wood and is available in oak and American walnut versions. It is 205.4 cm wide, 185.4 cm deep and 32 cm high.
