Fresh air friend: Shade Outdoor carpet by Nanimarquina
The dreamy rugs by Nanimarquina are now also available as an outdoor collection. This includes the well-known Shade series. The special thing about these rugs are the two colour gradients that run together in each rug - one in a vertical and one in a horizontal direction. In the process, six colours are woven into each other so that the colour scheme of the carpet appears to flow - like a colourful evening sky.
Designer Begüm Cana Özgür
Begüm Cana Özgür was born in Turkey in 1989 and has a Master's degree from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in the USA. She opened her own studio in Istanbul in 2014, as the cultural richness of her home country is the main motif of her work. In addition, the designer has a great interest in old craft practices. She combines art and craft in her designs, working with common materials and proven techniques.

nanimarquina is a company that is actively committed to climate protection. The focus is on reducing the carbon footprint and conserving natural resources without compromising on quality and design. As the first climate-neutral carpet manufacturer, the company has set itself ambitious goals: It aims to halve its emissions by 2030 and be completely carbon neutral by 2050.
