This is the designer chair 3107 of the Series 7 by Fritz Hansen, also called the Seven Chair by designer Arne Jacobsen. The revolutionary thing about the Siebener Stuhl at the time of its creation in 1955 was the technique of layer bonding used in its manufacture. This technique was perfected in the 1920s and 1930s by Soeren C. Hansen - this is the grandson of the company founder Fritz Hansen.
Arne Jacobsen, for his part, made full use of the possibilities of layer bonding and thus created the most sold designer chair at Fritz Hansen to this day. The 3107 chair is particularly versatile - whether at the home dining table or in public waiting areas. With its curved shape, the chair always brings a touch of elegance to any ambience.
