Limited Edition: Seven / Series Chair 3107 by Fritz Hansen
Just in time for its 155th anniversary, Fritz Hansen is launching a version of Arne Jacobsen's famous Seven chair that will only be available in 2025. The stackable Series 7 3107 chair is a true classic among seating furniture. What was revolutionary about the Seven Chair at the time of its creation in 1955 was the layered gluing technique used in its manufacture. This was perfected in the 1920s and 1930s by Soeren C. Hansen - the grandson of company founder Fritz Hansen. Now, for a short time, the bestseller is available in very exclusive colour variations inspired by the impressive colours of the Danish morning sky.
Fritz Hansen - Visionary design since 1872
Fritz Hansen is an exclusive design brand characterised by timeless collections and world-famous classic and contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories. The company was founded in Denmark in 1872. In the 1950s, the well-known designer Arne Jacobsen was responsible for design at Fritz Hansen. in 1979, the previously family-run company became part of Skandinavisk Holding. At the same time, Verner Panton was at the centre of attention as a leading avant-garde figure and had a huge influence on the manufacturer's design. Fritz Hansen manages the balancing act between upholding its long-standing history and tradition and designing modern pieces by repeatedly focussing on collaboration with international and visionary designers.
Material and format
The frame of the Limited Edition of the Siebener is optionally available in a chrome finish or with a Rainbow base made of partially recycled steel. The shell is available in lacquered veneer in five beautiful, pastel colours: beige, pink, purple, green and blue. The chair is 50 cm wide, 52 cm deep and 82 cm high. The seat height is 46 cm.
