New look: Seven / Series 3107 chair from Fritz Hansen

To celebrate 150 years of company history, manufacturer Fritz Hansen has developed the anniversary collection "Forever New". This includes a careful selection of the most legendary designs from the last 150 years - and in exciting new looks.

It goes without saying that Arne Jacobsen's famous seven-seater chair should not be missing here! This is being launched on the market with two exclusive upholstery fabrics. The icing on the cake is the anniversary plaque, which is attached to every Series 7 chair.

Elegant classic

The Chair 3107 of the Series 7 by Designer Arne Jacobsen, also Seven Chair is a true classic among seating furniture. And ppractical too: All Fritz Hansen Seven chairs are stackable and can therefore be stowed away to save space.

The revolutionary aspect of the Seven chair at the time of its creation in 1955 was the layered gluing technique used in its manufacture. This was perfected in the 1920s and 1930s by Soeren C. Hansen - the grandson of company founder Fritz HansenArne Jacobsen, for his part, fully exploited the possibilities of laminating and created the best-selling Fritz Hansen designer chair to date.

Material and format

The Seven chair is 50 cm wide, 52 cm deep and 82 cm high. The seat height is 46 cm. The upholstered seat shell is made of walnut pressure moulded veneer, the base is made of chrome-plated tubular steelYou can choose from the following two anniversary variants for the upholstery

  • Leather Grace - Chestnut: a brand new colour with an unmistakable chestnut brown shimmer, designed exclusively by Sørensen Leather for Fritz Hansen
  • Fabric Vanir - Granite Brown: 92% virgin wool, 8% nylon; designed by fashion designer Raf Simons for Kvadrat and exclusively available at Fritz Hansen
