Mobile mushroom light: The Setago JH27 battery lamp by &Tradition
"Seta", the Spanish word for "mushroom" and the English little word "go" form the name for this extraordinary battery lamp - a designation that could not be more apt. The gently shaped, mushroom-shaped lampshade made of polycarbonate provides a warm diffusion of light and at the same time draws the eye to the elegant base. The linear design is only interrupted by a small brass dimmer.
At full light intensity, the battery lasts up to 10 hours before you have to recharge the Setago JH27 via the included USB cable (charging time approx. 8 hours). You can get the table lamp designed by Jaime Hayon in different colour variations.
Designer Jaime Hayon
Jaime Hayon has Spanish roots and a sense of humour. Both can be found in Hayon's designs, no matter if he designs lounge chairs or home accessories. Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974 and devoted himself to skateboarding and graffiti in his youth - the basis for his later creative career. After his industrial design studies, he attended the Academy for Communication and Design founded by Benetton. In 2000, the artist finally opened his own studio in Copenhagen and has since worked for several international companies.
