Italian classic: Serpente table lamp by Martinelli Luce
Designed in 1965 by Elio Martinello, the Serpente table lamp stands for the worldwide success of Italian design in the sixties. The combination of a swivelling arm and the curved shade, which provides diffuse light , creates a special atmosphere. As a design classic, the Serpente lamp can also be found in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
