Self-contained: Self Watering Bottle flower pot from Side by Side
You see correctly, the Self Watering Bottle flowerpot consists of a wine bottle. The lower part of the bottle is a water reservoir and the upper part of the bottle, which is put over the other, provides space for the plant. The principle is very simple, because a wick hangs through the neck of the bottle and constantly delivers water into the soil. This makes daily watering superfluous. A cloth connected to the wick prevents soil from spilling through the neck of the bottle.

Side by Side is a joint project of several workshops for disabled people. Together with young designers, product lines are designed and developed with the aim of combining useful ut ensils and modern design. In this way, quality, design and function are combined.
