Design classic: Panton Chair by Vitra

The Panton Chair from Vitra is a true classic in the history of design furniture. It was designed back in 1959 by the famous designer Verner Panton. However, it was not until 1967 that it was successfully produced in series in collaboration with Vitra.
Since its introduction, it has undergone several further developments and it was not until 1999 that it was produced in its current form: made of solid-coloured, hard-wearing plastic with a matt-gloss finish.
Now the famous classic is available in a new limited edition in the colour beige. This version is only available from einrichten design.
A special design chair
A form that fits the body is brought into harmony with the technology of a cantilever chair - that is the underlying idea for the Panton Chair. The combination with the slightly flexible material creates a design chair with special seating comfort.
The popular classic has been awarded with numerous design prizes worldwide and can be found in many collections of famous museums. Its special shape has made it an icon of 20th century design.
