With a diameter of 120 cm, the Eero Saarinen outdoor table is ideally suited as an elegant dining table for brunching or BBQ outdoors. The table top of the outdoor version of the Eero Saarinen table is made of solid acrylic stone. The durable material has a particularly high water resistance and is certified for contact with food.
Knoll International guarantees a particularly long life for this outdoor table. The table base is made of nylon-coated aluminum die-cast and is therefore particularly scratch- and weather-resistant.
Design by Eero Saarinen
The end of the "ugly and troubled world" of the table legs was Eero Saarinen's approach to the creation of the Saarinen tables. The designer was of the opinion that the basic design of many tables and chairs have too many legs. Therefore, the Saarinen tables are only equipped with one middle base, whereby the tables gained worldwide fame.
