All-rounder: S 661 DR Thonet swivel chair
An award-winning design - the S 661 comes from the design pen of Günter Eberle from the early fifties. Thonet is reissuing it in 2023 and bringing this versatile all-rounder back into our rooms. The shaped wood shell convinces with its appealing look and the natural material. The frame is ideal for use in the home office or in public spaces, e.g. meeting areas for companies.
Material and format
The frame is available in polished or coated aluminium. The seat shell is made of wood and there is a choice of beech, oak or walnut. The chair has a five-arm swivel base with castors. It is 72 cm wide and deep and 76 to 89 cm high (depending on the setting). The chair can be adjusted in height. It has a seat height of 39 to 52 cm and weighs a total of 8 kg.
