Agil: Rookie office swivel chair from Vitra
Unconventionally simple - the Rookie office swivel chair from Vitra is smaller and more agile than ordinary office chairs. As few adjustment possibilities as possible offer easy handling and yet a high degree of comfort.
Both the seat and the backrest can be adjusted in height and, together with the structure of the office swivel chair, are among the ergonomic advantages of the seat. In addition, the backrest springs slightly and has an unusually flexible front edge.
Designer Konstantin Grcic
The famous designer Konstantin Grcic studied furniture carpentry at the John Makepeace School in Dorset, England before studying at the Royal College of Art in London. In 1991 he founded his own design studio in Munich, which is now located in Berlin. Whether projects in the field of industrial and furniture design, exhibits or cooperation with architecture - Konstantin Grcic's field of activity is extremely varied. The careful examination of history, art, design and architecture as well as his passion for technology and materials characterise the designer's designs.
Material and size
The backrest of the office swivel chair is made of polypropylene and a back cushion with polyurethane foam. You can adjust the height of the backrest by 55 mm using the quick-release. The seat consists of a polypropylene seat shell and polyurethane foam with a freely tensioned seat cover in fabric or leather. The chair has a seat height adjustment as standard. The base frame is a five-star base made of polyamide with double castors.
The chair is 68.5 cm wide and deep. It is 71 -90 cm high.
