Als Erweiterung für die Ringelpiez Stehleuchte entwarf der Designer Ingo Maurer einen gefalteten Papierschirm, der an das Licht streut und entblendet. Er kann direkt am Ring angebracht werden und erinnert an die gefalteten Lampenschirme des vergangenen Jahrhunderts.
Der Papierschirm erweitert die Ringelpiez Leuchte um einen besonders wohnlichen Faktor und ein angenehmes, warmes Licht. Zudem trifft er genau die Maxime des Künstlers: Weg von unbeweglichen, statischen Entwürfen, hin zur Leichtigkeit des Seins
