The Result Chair was originally designed by Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld for Ahrend. At the time of its creation at the end of the 1950s, the Result Chair was a real innovation, as its frame was made of sheet steel that was cut to size using a new method. This gave the designer chair its airy, industrial design-orientated appearance.
The Result Chair was often found in Dutch schools in the 60s and 70s, where it paved the way for an entire generation. The industrial look of the chair is emphasised by the oak veneer seat and backrest. These can be ordered online in various surface finishes.
Hay - design from Denmark
The Danish manufacturer Hay is generally known for its collaboration with up-and-coming young designers. However, company director Rolf Heide came to the conclusion that the Result Chair fits perfectly into the Hay product portfolio. With its reduced, minimalist appearance, the design chair can indeed be combined with many contemporary Hay designer pieces of furniture. Whether as a desk chair or at the dining table at home - the adaptable Result Chair brings Nordic flair into your own home.
