Peace and tranquillity
Many works by the Swedish design studio Front deal with the systematic observation of the sleep and especially the hibernation of animals.
Front's Resting Animals project explores the close connection between human emotions and figurative objects. Randomly selected people were asked about the most emotionally enriching object in their lives. Most of the answers given related to animal figures with which a personal story or specific attributes are linked.
The largest of the figures is the Resting Bear - a knitted bear that can serve as a foot rest or stool. It not only brings a piece of decorative nature into your room, but also conveys a sense of deep satisfaction.
Material and size
The bear is filled with moulded foam and plastic granulate and covered with a moulded knit cover. The floor consists of a wooden plate covered with velour.
It is 91 cm long, 53 cm deep and 33 cm high.
